Job Summary
SharkStack is looking for a talented Backend Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our dynamic and innovative team. This fully remote role operates during US business hours, offering a unique chance to work on meaningful projects that leverage Flask, FastAPI, and AWS technologies. As a key member of our forward-thinking company, you will play an essential role in designing and maintaining scalable backend systems while expanding your technical skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems using Flask and FastAPI frameworks. Your role will involve deploying and managing applications on AWS, ensuring they meet high standards of availability, security, and performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define, design, and implement new features that drive our products forward.

Solving complex technical challenges creatively and efficiently will be a core part of your daily work. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code with meticulous attention to detail is expected. You will also actively participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback to uphold and improve code quality across the team.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development. Proficiency with Flask and FastAPI frameworks is essential, along with strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, and S3. Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs is required.

You must demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on quality and detail. The role demands the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, is necessary. Additionally, experience working collaboratively within diverse, cross-functional teams is important for success in this position.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes will be considered a strong advantage. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is also preferred. Familiarity with other cloud platforms and serverless architectures will be a plus.

This is a full-time remote position offering a competitive starting salary beginning at Rs200,000 per month.
