Software Quality Assurance Executive

Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Software Quality Assurance Executive to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, preferably within sectors such as software development, ERP, access control, and HRMS. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality standards for both web and mobile applications by executing thorough testing and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will thrive in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively contribute to refining QA processes for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and test scripts tailored for web and mobile applications.
- Perform a variety of testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to guarantee software reliability and robustness.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar systems.
- Work collaboratively with developers and product teams to gain a clear understanding of requirements and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Uphold and enforce software quality standards throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
- Suggest and support the implementation of process improvements and QA best practices to enhance overall quality assurance effectiveness.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and continuous delivery.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in software quality assurance roles.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practical experience with testing tools.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development frameworks.
- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Prior experience in industries like ERP, access control systems, and HRMS is highly advantageous.
- Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Islamabad before commencing employment.
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant QA experience in similar sectors.
