DSV is looking for a committed professional to manage Sea Freight global accounts, serving as the primary liaison for customer communication and operational activities. This role is essential in driving productivity by ensuring timely and accurate documentation, coordinating efficiently with outsourced service providers and vendors, tracking shipments, issuing invoices, and managing Sea Freight export documentation. The successful candidate will uphold compliance with export procedures, statutory requirements, and standard operating protocols, playing a vital role in maintaining smooth global logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Sea Freight global accounts, acting as the single point of contact for customer correspondence and operational coordination.
- Oversee shipment tracking and ensure invoices are issued promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with outsourced service providers and vendors to uphold high service standards.
- Handle all documentation and operational tasks related to Sea Freight exports.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export procedures and statutory requirements to guarantee compliance.
- Follow and enforce standard area operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage complex data sets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
