Medical Biller

Job Summary
Doctors Urgent Care Group is seeking a meticulous and experienced Medical Biller to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals. This role is critical in managing the medical billing cycle by ensuring claims are submitted accurately and promptly. You will review patient records for completeness, address billing discrepancies, and support the smooth operation of our medical office functions. As part of a well-established organization with over 30 locations across five states, you will have the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and submit medical billing claims in a timely manner to ensure efficient reimbursement.
- Thoroughly review patient records to verify completeness and accuracy before billing submission.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding claims, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or denials.
- Stay current with evolving medical billing regulations, coding standards, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with healthcare providers to confirm proper coding and documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Support accounts receivable management and assist with collections activities to optimize revenue flow.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience utilizing AdvancedMD software for medical billing purposes.
- At least two years of hands-on medical billing experience, with a strong emphasis on denial management and resolution.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in coding systems, including ICD-9 and ICD-10.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
