Job Summary
Optimize Engineering, a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality evaporators for the appliance industry, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant Manager to join our expanding team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility by managing maintenance activities related to evaporator production equipment. The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance technicians, implement preventive maintenance strategies, reduce equipment downtime, and collaborate across departments to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance
You will oversee the maintenance and repair of evaporator manufacturing machinery, aiming to maximize operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Developing and executing preventive maintenance schedules will be a core responsibility to enhance equipment reliability and extend its service life. Regular inspections will be conducted to identify potential issues early and address them proactively.

Team Leadership
As a leader, you will supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians, providing necessary training and support to foster professional growth. Promoting a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department is essential. You will also coordinate maintenance activities with other departments to align with overall operational goals.

Troubleshooting
You will take ownership of diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions swiftly to minimize production disruptions. Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams, you will identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions. Driving continuous improvements to enhance equipment performance and prevent recurring problems will be a key focus.

Documentation and Reporting
Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities, including equipment history, repairs, and preventive tasks, is critical. You will prepare comprehensive reports on equipment performance, downtime, and key maintenance metrics for management review, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Safety Compliance
Ensuring all maintenance work adheres to safety regulations and company guidelines is paramount. You will conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the appliance manufacturing sector.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of evaporator manufacturing equipment and related processes.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Candidates with prior experience in appliance industry maintenance and a strong commitment to operational excellence are highly encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive salary starting at Rs. 100,000 per month, along with benefits such as fuel allowance, health insurance, 21 cashable leaves, lunch provisions, and performance-based incentives. This full-time position is based in Port Qasim, and candidates should be prepared to manage their commute independently if fuel allowance is provided.
