Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and tech-savvy IT Assistant to join our team at an entry-level capacity. This role is perfect for recent graduates who are eager to develop practical skills in troubleshooting, hardware and software support, and basic network administration. As an IT Assistant, you will work closely with our IT department to help maintain and optimize the organization’s computer systems and network infrastructure. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in a professional environment, providing a solid foundation for a career in IT support and network management.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide first-level technical support to staff by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and update software applications while managing user accounts and permissions efficiently.
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to hardware malfunctions, software errors, and connectivity disruptions to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT inventory records and documentation to support effective asset management and auditing.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing and network protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
- A keen willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to the evolving IT landscape.
