Job Summary
ABS International is looking for a motivated Entry-Level IT Support Technician to join their on-site team located in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. This full-time role offers a fixed monthly salary of PKR 45,000 and requires working from Monday to Saturday, between 6:00 PM and 2:00 AM PKT. Key Responsibilities
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring Windows operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11, as well as Microsoft 365 applications and antivirus software. Troubleshooting hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, and printers is a core part of the role. Additionally, the technician will diagnose and resolve LAN/WAN network connectivity problems to ensure smooth operations. The role also involves performing data backup and recovery procedures to maintain data integrity and availability. Maintaining accurate IT inventory and system documentation is essential to support operational efficiency and assist with ongoing maintenance.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have between 1 to 2 years of professional experience in IT support or a related field. Proficiency in Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments is required, along with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications. A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and DNS, is necessary to effectively troubleshoot connectivity issues. Fluency in both English and Urdu is essential for clear communication within the team and with end-users. Candidates must be able to commit to full-time, on-site work during the specified evening shift hours.
