Lead II - Data Engineering

A leading global digital transformation company is looking for an experienced IT professional with 7 to 9 years of experience to join their Hyderabad team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Master Data Management (MDM) and ETL development, with hands-on expertise in STIBO STEP, Azure Data Services, and IBM InfoSphere DataStage. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across multiple systems. The position requires close collaboration with business and data teams to deliver robust MDM and data integration solutions while troubleshooting and optimizing ETL and MDM processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using STIBO STEP and IBM InfoSphere DataStage.
- Build and orchestrate data pipelines leveraging Azure Data Factory and related Azure services such as Azure Synapse and Azure Storage.
- Collaborate closely with business and data teams to gather requirements and deliver robust MDM and data integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues within ETL and MDM processes, implementing necessary improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability across multiple systems.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for version control and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) within Azure environments.
- Document design specifications, processes, and system configurations thoroughly.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7 to 9 years of total IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience with STIBO STEP (MDM tool).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Data Engineering tools, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Storage.
- Strong expertise in ETL development, particularly with IBM InfoSphere DataStage, including building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL jobs.
- Experience in implementing or supporting Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
