We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the organization’s financial records and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely reconciliation
Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and budgeting
Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws
Coordinate with external auditors during audits
Process payroll, maintain employee expense records, and manage statutory deductions
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certification such as ACCA, CA, or CMA (preferred but not required)
Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with audit procedures and internal financial controls
Prior work in a fast-paced or growth-stage environment
