We are looking for a dedicated Manager for Fiber Operations with expertise in FTTH to join a reputable telecom company based in Faisalabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of fiber optic networks, ensuring high network resilience and efficient service delivery. This role demands hands-on management of network infrastructure, effective coordination with multiple stakeholders, and proactive problem-solving to support network expansion and enhance service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the operation and maintenance (O&M) of GPON, metro, metro access, and carrier networks.
- Lead efforts to rehabilitate and revamp the optical fiber cable (OFC) network to facilitate expansion and upgrades.
- Develop and implement contingency plans for network diversion and traffic routing during emergencies and disasters.
- Enhance network resilience by completing ring topologies to reduce outages.
- Address low power issues across corporate, carrier, metro, and metro access networks to improve customer experience (CHI).
- Arrange fiber pairs for corporate, carrier, Ufone, and transport network elements/customers.
- Coordinate closely with government departments and authorities to safeguard the network during planned and unplanned activities.
- Prepare and submit p-deposit bills to civic agencies for route relocations caused by development works.
- Replace problematic aerial cable sections to minimize cable cuts and service interruptions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering cable cuts, preventive maintenance repairs (PMR), and related analysis.
- Conduct PMR activities including repairing damaged handholes, installing new handhole covers, replacing underground joints, removing sags, securing aerial joint boxes, and placing loops at maximum height.
- Update GIS/KMZ files with new cable routes for corporate, carrier, metro, and metro access networks.
- Ensure timely replenishment of stores and repair of tools to maintain smooth network operations.
- Improve Service Quality Indicators (SQIs) by executing PMR, network rehabilitation, and closing quality audit observations.
- Conduct Pre-Acceptance Testing (PAT) of GPON, carrier, corporate, and transmission network elements prior to handover.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FTTH network operations and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of GPON, metro, and carrier network technologies.
- Ability to develop and implement contingency and disaster recovery plans.
- Experience coordinating with government authorities and civic agencies.
- Skilled in preparing technical reports and managing preventive maintenance activities.
- Proficient in GIS/KMZ mapping and network documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in field operations and manage on-road activities.

Location: Faisalabad (mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: PKR 110,000 to PKR 130,000 per month
