We are currently seeking a Manager of Performance Marketing to join our elite growth-marketing team. This role will lead Careem’s acquisition strategies, ensuring high-quality execution and the development of best practices across paid media channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Display Programmatic, and Video. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in performance marketing, with a data-driven mindset and a passion for innovation in digital marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Careem’s digital performance marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and project briefs.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable plans and communicate these effectively to the marketing team.
- Manage and resolve operational challenges promptly to maintain seamless campaign execution.
- Drive the implementation and continuous optimization of performance marketing and branding campaigns across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display Programmatic, and Video channels.
- Utilize data analytics and advanced measurement techniques to foster innovation and improve campaign performance.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal digital strategy planners and external media partners to maximize campaign impact.
- Develop and execute comprehensive annual media strategies across all categories, focusing on long-term platform growth and performance maximization.
- Promote and implement automation of routine marketing tasks to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Create, develop, and present strategic proposals to internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in PPC and data-driven digital marketing strategy, with a proven ability to optimize app campaigns for performance.
- Proficiency in Google Marketing Platform tools, including Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, Google Analytics 360, and Campaign Manager.
- Strong understanding of attribution models and hands-on experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) such as Adjust.
- Familiarity with dashboarding and data visualization tools like Looker Studio or equivalent platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in automating marketing workflows and tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies and communicate them effectively to business teams.
