We are seeking a highly skilled Local SEO Expert with a deep understanding of the latest SEO trends and updates, including knowledge of recent Google algorithms such as the Google Helpful Content Update, Google's NLP (Natural Language Processing) advancements, and other essential search engine developments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our website's on-page elements to improve searchengine rankings, drive organic traffic, and enhance user experience. You willcollaborate with content creators, developers, and other marketing

professionals to ensure that our SEO strategies align with the latest Google guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Local SEO Optimization:

Perform in-depth audits of website pages to identify areas for improvement.
Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, images, and other key elements for SEO performance.
Ensure proper keyword placement, content formatting, and internal linking strategies.
Improve website speed, structure, and mobile-friendliness to meetGoogle’s Core Web Vitals.

2. Google Algorithm Expertise:

Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm changes (e.g., Google Helpful Content Update, Core Updates).
Implement strategies that comply with current and emerging Google algorithm requirements.
Analyze and adapt SEO strategies to align with Google’s NLP capabilities and RankBrain signals.

3. Content Optimization:

Work closely with content creators to guide SEO-friendly content development.
Optimize content to be helpful, informative, and in compliance with Google’s focus on high-quality, user-centric content.
Use schema markup to enhance the visibility and relevance of content in search engines.

4. Technical SEO Support:

Collaborate with web developers to address technical SEO issues (e.g., crawling, indexing, canonical tags).
Ensure the site architecture supports optimal search engine rankings and user experience.
Conduct regular checks to fix broken links, redirects, and website errors.

5. Analytics & Reporting:

Monitor website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other relevant tools.
Prepare detailed SEO performance reports, analyzing organic traffic trends, rankings, and overall website health.
Identify opportunities for improvement based on data insights.

Key Qualifications:

Proven experience in on-page SEO with a strong portfolio showcasing successful SEO projects.
Up-to-date knowledge of Google’s algorithm updates and SEO best practices, including the Google Helpful Content Update and Google NLP.
Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
Experience with schema markup, HTML, and technical SEO elements.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to conduct thorough audits and provide actionable recommendations.
Familiarity with Google’s Core Web Vitals and experienceoptimizing for site speed, mobile responsiveness, and UX.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in content strategy or collaborating closely with content teams.
Understanding of local SEO strategies and practices.
Knowledge of additional algorithmic updates and search engine advancements like BERT, MUM, and E-A-T principles.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the relevant field.
