Chief Editor – Digital Content

We are seeking a visionary Chief Editor to lead our digital content production team, focusing on current affairs and political developments, with a special emphasis on Balochistan, India, and Afghanistan.

Key Responsibilities:

Editorial Leadership: Oversee the planning, coordination, and revision of written material, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and goals.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a dynamic team of research associates and scriptwriters, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.
Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies that resonate with our audience, ensuring timely and factual reporting on regional political dynamics.
OSR Network Development: Establish and expand our Open Source Research (OSR) network to enhance real-time data collection and analysis capabilities.
Idea Generation: Stay abreast of daily happenings to brainstorm and transform them into compelling, factual scripts suitable for various digital platforms.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in a senior editorial role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital content production related to current affairs and politics.
Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the political landscapes of Balochistan, India, and Afghanistan.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Urdu and English, with exceptional writing and editing skills in both languages.
Digital Savvy: Proficiency in utilizing digital tools and platforms for content creation and dissemination.
