Strategic Project Management

Lead planning and execution of nutrition project activities to meet defined objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee implementation across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational standards.
Establish clear work plans and performance benchmarks in collaboration with field teams and partners.
Monitor risks and lead adaptive management to respond to changing field conditions.

Technical Oversight and Quality Assurance

Provide hands-on technical guidance to nutrition staff and partners across implementation sites.
Lead internal quality assurance processes including data quality audits, technical supervision visits, and performance reviews.
Oversee needs assessments (e.g., SMART, SQUEAC), baseline/endline surveys, and data-driven learning for continuous improvement.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting

Lead development of M&E frameworks and tools to track outputs, outcomes, and impact.
Conduct data analysis to inform programming decisions and strategic planning.
Produce high-quality donor reports, case studies, and knowledge products.
Ensure timely submission of reports in accordance with EU and internal reporting schedules.

Staff/Team Management

Oversight of the Human Resource, Logistics and Program teams, including day-to-day management, development and training, appraisals, etc. It may also be necessary to manage other project staff.
Facilitate regular meetings to assist information sharing between each department, project staff, to ensure all staff members are aware of project objectives and current work plans and to provide the opportunity for feedback.
Provide coaching and technical supervision to staff in order to develop ownership and full responsibility for the project activities.
Assess training needs with support of the capacity building unit and other project staff and ensure that appropriate training is conducted and new skills are used in the field.
