The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing employee payroll, ensuring compliance with tax and labor laws, and maintaining accurate records. They will handle tasks like calculating wages, processing deductions, generating paychecks, and answering employee payroll inquiries.
- Accurately enter and update employee data, including timekeeping, wages, and deductions, into the payroll system.
- Calculate and process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and labor laws.
- Handle various deductions, including taxes, insurance, and other voluntary or involuntary deductions.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks and paystubs to employees.
- Generate payroll reports for management and reconcile payroll records with accounting.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor laws to ensure compliance.
- Answer employee questions and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Responsible for the end-to-end payroll and pension process, including starters and leavers.
- Responsibility for Time & Attendance validation and obtaining sign off for clients' payroll.
- Resolving all payroll and pension queries from clients.
- Compliance with payroll timetables and policies.
- Input and process payroll data accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
