- The position is responsible for developing and maintain business intelligence tools & reports to support data driven decision making. Analyze complex data set to identify trends, patterns & insight that drive business strategy & performances.
- Data Collection & Analysis:
- Collect, clean and validate large datasets from internal & external stakeholders
- Perform thorough analysis using statistical techniques & tools to interpret data, identify trends and generate insights
- Assist Manager BI in data collection process
- Data Engineering:
- Assist Manager BI in Design and building analytics. Deployment of BI solutions and Analytics along with data warehousing.
- Responsible for conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
- Design, develop and test ETL task utilizing dynamic mapping and task flows in SSIS.
- Performance tuning of end-to-end ETL integration processes.
- Determine optimal approach for obtaining data from multiple source systems.
- Data purging and data cleaning.
- Work on projects focused on continuous improvement of the applications support models and associated processes using appropriate technologies.
- New ETL pipelines deployments
- Reports/Dashboards development & presentations:
- Responsible for new report/dashboard development, report maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy, Power BI, Temenos Analytics Application)
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and existing reports.
- Develop, execute and optimize database queries and conduct analyses.
- Create visualizations, GI, dash boards and reports with optimized views.
- Reports & Dashboards modification as per requirements
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, presentation for management & Stakeholders
- Create visualizations (Charts, graphs, dashboard) to effectively communicate findings & recommendations
- Automate reporting process (Where possible) to streamline operations and improve data accuracy
- Compliance & Data Security:
- Devolving rules as per assigned roles/function; approved from relevant authorities
- Ensure compliance as per bank policies and regulatory guidelines in data management and migration
- Ensure data and info security; close working relations with IT security team
- Operational Support:
- Work closely with other departments to fulfil their daily requirements related to data analysis, reports and insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies based on data analysis
- Coordination & collaboration with concern desks regarding employee s performance data solutions and staff incentives
- Any other task:
- Bank may assign any other related task from time to time
- Hold Master Degree from a reputable Institution in IT, Computer Science or related subject.
- Having experience of more than 3 years in the same capacity
- Knowledge of microfinance operations, credit process and risk management is highly desirable
- Strong analytical & Problem-solving skills
- Proficient in statistical software (e.g R Python), database querying (SQL) & data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
- Ready for mobility & ability to work independently
