Key Responsibilities:

Lead Quality Control Operations: Oversee day-to-day quality control activities to ensure that products meet the required specifications and industry standards. Develop and implement QC procedures, testing protocols, and product inspection processes.
Product Quality Testing: Conduct, monitor, and interpret results from quality tests on polymer products. Coordinate regular sampling, testing, and inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions: Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues and defects through root cause analysis. Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence of problems.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of quality control technicians and staff. Provide training on quality procedures, tools, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, industry regulations). Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, test results, and compliance documentation.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Communicate quality findings and improvement initiatives to senior management.
Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in quality control processes and systems. Use data analysis and performance metrics to track improvements and identify areas for further enhancement.
Supplier Quality Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials meet quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier-related quality issues.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in quality control management within the polymer or manufacturing industry, preferably with exposure to polymer-based products.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of polymer materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control testing methods specific to polymers.
Certifications: ISO 9001 or Six Sigma certification (preferred, not required).
Tools & Software: Proficiency in quality management software (e.g., SAP, Minitab, or equivalent), and experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and testing equipment.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Leadership: Proven experience managing a team, with strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, think critically, and develop solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on precision and accuracy in all aspects of quality control.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
Experience in polymer manufacturing (extrusion, molding, compounding, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
