We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality products, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a seamless supply of materials in alignment with company goals and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Source and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors for quality, price, and delivery speed.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to delays or quality.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Conduct market research to keep up with industry trends and new products.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, finance) to forecast needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Evaluate supplier performance and build long-term partnerships.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Purchase Manager, Procurement Manager, or similar role.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
