We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Export Documentation Officer for our shipping operations. The candidate must have hands-on experience with export documentation procedures, knowledge of international shipping regulations, and the ability to coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and internal departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Submitting Shipping Instructions (ESI) to the carrier. (Maersk Line / MSC Line / Wan Hai Line / Hapag Line / Cosco Line)
- Verify and submit shipping instructions and bills of lading.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and communicate with relevant authorities i.e. shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customers.
- Checking and amend draft copies.
- HBL & MBL Printing.
- HBL & MBL dispatch to the shipper.
- Dispatch MBL to our destination offices
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in export/shipping documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong understanding of export procedures, Incoterms, and shipping terms.
- Familiarity with customs documentation, HS codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
