Summary
I am passionate to utilize my valuable experience of import customs clearance and procedures in any respective organization to make trading more beneficial in the current economic situation. Through my multiple experience and talent, I can add my knowledge to meet unique direction to get expected achievements. I am also capable to get most admissible amount in terms of freight by my relation with international freight forwarders to make indefensible saving.
Experience
Import Officer
Currently my responsibilities are as below.
· To explore new suppliers/manufacturers to get more competitive price.
· Correspondence with foreign manufacturers and suppliers.
· Provision of letters for customs, bank & foreigners.
· Handling LC, DP and CAD terms matters.
· Duty/taxes calculation.
· Freight booking with freight forwarding agents.
· Documentation related to customs, bank, & brands.
· Intimating required documents/restrictions in the light of import policy order on newly imported products.
· Determining final/end cost of any product whether before purchasing or after clearance.
· Preparation of quotations.
· Independently Advising appropriate HS codes/PCT and applicable SROs for concessions and exemptions in various items through Pakistan Customs tariff for different manufacturers and commercial importers.
· Cross checking of duty taxes figure advised by clearing agent.
· Electronic import form (EIF) filing in WeBOC system.
Manager
I was honored to perform below.
· Goods declaration (GD) filing in WeBOC system.
· Electronic import form (EIF) filing.
· Documentation related to customs, bank, port and shipping line.
· Online E-filing monthly sales tax return on SRB (Sindh Revenue Board) portal.
· Advising appropriate HS codes/PCT and applicable SROs for concessions and exemptions in various items through Pakistan Customs tariff for different manufacturers and commercial importers.
· Electronically conversation with clients and foreign suppliers or consigner/exporter for instant update or if need any necessary document.
· Attending hearing before Deputy/Assistant/Additional Collector of Customs to discuss the occurred dispute or any objection taken by customs authority to justify such stance on behalf of trader.
· Advising clients how to prepare invoice, packing list, FTA, and all other relevant supporting documents before booking of the shipment.
· To handle all necessary professional works related to import and clearance.
Incharge
During job my responsibilities were as below.
· Telephonically coordinate with shipping line to get information related to vessel selling and cutoff date.
· Maintain import & export documents to get container release order (CRO) and Delivery Order issued.
