●Overall responsible for the implementation of the hard component of the emergency project.●Preparation of field workplans for theengineering team and technical backstopping of the technical team of the partners.● Technical Assessment of WASH activities for the rehabilitation work in the assigned district. ● Development of BOQs, layout plans and drawings for the proposed works under the program.● Provide technical support to Vendor/contractor/firm in the implementation process where required.● Support and coordination with field Coordinator for the monitoring of implementation works at project locations. ● Provide oversight, and supervision to monitor the quality and standard of the rehabilitation and construction work at health/ other facilities and in the communities.●Conductmarket assessment for proposed work materials availability,unitrates ofmaterial & labour and formulate realistic estimates of the proposed activities of the WASH related actions.● Coordinate with the Program Manager- Emergency Response, and field staff for daily and biweekly reporting.● Ensure that the Program Manager- Emergency Response is kept regularly informed of all matters relevant to the efficient and effective management of engineering work, including the preparation of regular reporting and the production of work plans.● Ensure water quality monitoring, sample collection and water testing as per guidelines.● Provide guidance to the team on chlorination of water as per the standards.●Finalize and sign thework completion certificates fromthecontractorandhealth facility.● Provide technical support to the field and country office team for all relevant documents (with photographs and written reports), and WASH interventions.●Providetimely reporttothesupervisorregardingany issuerelevanttoproject activities at the earliest stage with recommendations.●Undertakefrequentlytravelto targetedprojectsites.●Share regularprogressreporting,as agreedwith theField Coordin

  Monitoring & supervision of ongoing schemes of WASH for better quality of work

·        To define program implementation modalities (targeting criteria, mobilization modalities, local partnerships, participant training curricula, monitoring systems) in coordination with Manager WASH at head office level
