- Suggest prospective audits to be included in audit plan.
- Draft scope of each upcoming audit and to issue notifications for the same.
- Prepare engagement plans and work programs.
- Execute field work according to engagement plans and work programs.
- Draft internal audit reports for the review of line manager.
- Conduct specialized investigations and preparing reports for the same.
- Follow up pending issues of previous quarters.
- Ensure closure of all internal audit engagement on timely basis.
- Maintain logs of all issued previous reports.
- Update internal audit reports and working papers

My responsibilities as a Senior Auditor were to:
- Plan the audit and perform preliminary risk assessment procedures.
- Initiate the engagements by calling off management of the clients and
designated persons.
- Selection of the audit team and giving briefings to them about the nature of
business and control environment of the companies in consideration.
- Carry out the complete field work of the respective assignments and
managing resources along with the strict deadlines.
- Train the juniors in order to make them capable of handling pressure and
understanding working methodologies.
- Verify the account heads having significant risk and complexity.
- Finalize the work and produce deliverables.
- Resolve conflicts among the team members, and between our team and
management of the companies.
- Update audit manager about the progress of the client and give review to
him at the finalization stage of the audits and assignments.
- Ensure the quality control of the audit and other non-assurance
engagements throughout the period.
