ALL TAX RELATED MATTERS.
• Prepare Monthly sales tax return and Withholding statements.
• Manage financial matters of the Group.
• Prepare Monthly financial statements.
• Liaison with the external Companies.
Audit & Assurance;
I mostly involved in the audit assignments, which are in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and in conformity with other relevant auditing and accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Guiding subordinates in the examination and analysis of accounting records of client, and preparing reports concerning its financial status and operating procedures and inspecting items in books of original entry to determine if proper procedure in recording transactions were followed.
• Analyzing the workings of subordinates and assisting them at certain points, where they are incapable of performing any task. Verifying journal and ledger entries of cash and check payments, purchases, expenses and trial balances by examining and authenticating inventory items.
• Reviewing data regarding material assets, net worth liabilities, capital stock and the audit procedures and techniques performed by subordinates in regard of income and expenses.
• Guiding the team members in counting the cash and stock in hand, inspecting notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, foreign currencies and canceled cheque, at the end of the accounting period and preparing reconciliations (if any) during the audit period.
• Critically evaluating the clients accounting methods and procedures and then drafting financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards and in compliance with the companies’ ordinance.
Book Keeping;
I am also involved in book-keeping assignments, which are in line with the international financial reporting standards and in conformity with other relevant accounting and regulatory frameworks.
• Analyzing the clients financial information and records such as; vouchers, bills etc.
• Preparing the general ledger and guiding subordinates; how to prepare journals and subsidiary ledgers.
• Inspecting the journals and subsidiary ledgers prepared by subordinates and devising a trial balance, and keeping account of errors and omissions.
• Drafting financial statements in accordance with the accounting standards and companies ordinance.
