Coordinate with Transporters, Area Sales Manager and Depot logistics supervisors for getting the job done.
Manage and coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational activities for district warehouses and stores.
Direct and review work plan for assigned staff.
Monitor storeroom and warehouse material usage.
Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage.
Meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
Coordinate warehousing and storeroom activities with outside agencies and organizations.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through scheduling call backs
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Cross sell and upsell where the customers requirements aren't met
Dispatch and schedule trucks for loads
Being updated of whereabouts of the drivers
Acting as a bridge between drivers and brokers
Negotiating the best rates for load on behalf of clients with the brokers.
Identify selling possibilities and evaluate clients needs
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
