I have 18+ years experience in IT & Telecommunications industry in Tier1 companies in Germany and UK. Currently, as Strategy Manager in UK’s leading mobile operator, O2, I am responsible for developing technology strategy for O2 UK. I own the technology roadmap that defines the plans to introduce new technologies that enable O2 to be a leader in technology and competitive in business. I lead the program to develop the company’s 3-year business plan which defines the Capex and Opex budget for the next 3 years. I work closely with technical & business teams, suppliers and delivery leads to ensure that are executed in a timely & comprehensive manner & deliver the intended Return-on-Investment.
Previously I have worked for over 12 years in Nokia Networks in Germany in different domains of Networks, Consultancy, Pre-Sales, Account Management and technical Services. During my role as Sales Manager, the Sales revenue double in the 3 years period. I won Europe Stars award and multiple Excellence Awards and was selected for Nokia Leadership Development Program. I can speak 4 languages including French and German.
I am currently working as Strategy Manager in O2 UK which is UK's largest mobile operator. I am responsible for developing technology strategy for the next five years for O2. I deliver strategy recommendations for key topics, working with technology suppliers and regulators and other functional teams in O2 UK and Telefonica group. I ensure that long term strategic decision are made with a comprehensive view and capability plans are aligned across different domains.
I worked in different roles in Nokia Networks (earlier NSN and Siemens), primarily with Deutsche Telekom as customer. In my last role as Solution Consultant for Deutsche Telekom (DT), I was given the Europe Stars award for the biggest Optimization deal in Europe. Previously as senior NPO Radio Engineer, I have worked as Technical lead for several operators in Germany and Netherlands.
