Community-Based Protection for Refugees – UNHCR-funded project)
Implementation of community-based protection projects for Afghan refugees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 05 Districts.
Management and supervision of the project staff and monitoring of the activities and ensure that the project activities are in line with the budget, monitoring, and evaluation of the project.
Implemented and managed protection and inclusion programs, ensuring the rights and well-being of marginalized groups, including refugees, and other vulnerable populations.
Ensured that the perspectives, capacities, needs and resources of the PoC are manifested in the protection strategy, planning, processes and operations plan addressing the specific protection needs of women and men, children, youth and older persons, persons with disabilities, and marginalized groups.
Maintained protection presence through regular field missions, making direct contact with PoC,host communities, local authorities and partners.
Identification of PWSN and referred for targeted direct support and assistance, i.e., emergency cash assistance, health assistance, skill trainings, case management for child protection and SGBV, emergency shelter, and durable solutions, as required.
Linking community members with other organizations, government technical and vocational centres for admission in different vocational trainings.

Conducted social and physical mapping in key focus areas, resulting in the development of an online service directory as well as community ‘pocket guides’ to facilitate refugees’ access to needed services.
Supported refugee communities to identify and address their needs through community-led initiatives, including through seed funding and mentoring from UNHCR.

Rabta- Police Program on Gender Sensitive Training for Justice Sector Actors (INL)
· Developed and conducted trainings and seminars for police personnel, prosecutors, legal aid providers, and local community leaders about the rights and needs of women and girls through training focused on Pakistan’s criminal justice system and laws in place to protect women
· Established strong liaison with the Sindh, KP & Islamabad police, government agencies, shelter homes, lawyers, psychologists, while working in the crisis’s management committee referral process for victims.
· Managed and coordinated the teams placed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh and ensured quality of work through rigorous monitoring and evaluation plan & designed questionnaires, conducting pre & post assessments (FGDs and IDIs)
Child Protection Services Child-Friendly Spaces in Voluntary Repatriation Centre Chamkani UNICEF)
· Planned and executed training and orientation for Child-Friendly Space including rights, participation, protection (including the Child Protection Policy), and provided constant guidance and mentoring to practice these concepts.
· In coordination with the Child Protection team members, supported regular participatory activities with different groups of children to identify issues affecting children in their communities, and assisted the teams to develop appropriate responses
· Advocated and referred child protection cases to other government and non-government organization ensuring best protection services required for the children.
· Developed and executed an organized plan for screening and monitoring of protection needs and gaps in and around the Child-Friendly Spaces
AAWAZ voice and accountability Programme (DAI)
• Assisted the program head in implementing program strategic goals from developing recommendations for the Provincial Government for public policy and legislation for gender-inclusive governance to engaging with the public representatives and all other stakeholders for pushing legislation
• Ensured nurturing and strengthening of democratic processes from the grassroots through a different set of training for program staff, partner organizations and community members.
• Identified capacity building needs with beneficiaries, drafted terms of reference and engaged experts for project training workshops and meetings and also reviewed capacity building plans & manual in objective areas of the program
Local Action to Combat Gender Injustices – Norwegian Church Aid (NCA)
• Managed and supervised district field office of Aurat Foundation in Haripur.
• Provided legal awareness through training, seminars, consultation meetings, audio listening drama and through radio programs by interviewing experts on the issues of forced marriages and women disinheritance
• Organized and involved MPAs for raising the project issues in the parliament and make efforts for legislation
• Capacity building of the legal aid committees and other activists for sharing their experiences to develop a wider supportive environment for the victims of violence
• Developed IEC material on violence against women and girls in KP and also collected/Compiled and prepared case studies.
Child Protection Services for Vulnerable Children and Women in Mardan & Swabi (UNICEF)
• Established and operated 40 Child Protection centres in two districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e., Mardan and Swabi
• Ensured child safety and recreational activities within the Child-Friendly Space, catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, and abilities
• Provided technical support to different governmental and non-governmental organizations on child protection
• Screened and monitored protection needs and gaps in data collection, questioner designing, and development
• Developed a referral mechanism for providing emergency response to vulnerable adults in the community
