Responsibility and Activities

Troubleshooting and problem-solving. Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures, and implement appropriate solutions in a timely manner. Troubleshoot issues related to Hardware, mechanical, or components of biomedical equipment.

Provide technical support. Assist in installing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to medical devices. Collaborate with clinical staff and end-users to provide training and support, ensuring proper utilization and maintenance of medical equipment

Documentation and reporting. Maintain detailed documentation of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service activities, and regular Service Report, Daily & Monthly Log Books.

Equipment maintenance and repair. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment and devices to ensure their proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.

Equipment inventory management. Maintain accurate records of biomedical equipment inventory, including asset tracking, equipment history, and maintenance schedules. Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of necessary equipment and spare parts.

Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance. medical devices and equipment comply with regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Technical Support. provide technical support to customers, clinicians, and other stakeholders,  assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of medical devices or equipment.

Documentation and Reporting. creating and maintaining documentation related to work. This includes technical specifications, design files, test reports, and regulatory documentation.
