Hello. I'm Abdulbasit. As a graduate in English literature with experience in serving people during the floods in 2022 in Pakistan, I am seeking a job where I can utilize my skills in hygiene, helping people, giving them shelter, and food. I have also gained valuable experience in traveling to remote areas with various NGOs to help those in need. I've worked and collaborated with Al Ahad welfare foundation in recent floods. I've covered various villages and helped people who were in miserable condition.
With my background in English literature, I possess strong communication and writing skills that can be utilized in creating effective communication strategies for the organization. My experience in disaster relief has taught me how to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively with a team.
I am passionate about helping people and making a positive impact in their lives. I am looking for an opportunity to work with an organization that shares my values and mission to provide assistance to those in need. Volunteer
I worked as a volunteer for Al-Ahad Welfare Foundation during the recent floods in Pakistan in 2022. It was a challenging and emotional experience, but also incredibly rewarding to be able to provide assistance to those in need.
During my time with the organization, I assisted with distributing relief supplies, setting up and managing relief camps, and conducting surveys to assess the needs of affected communities. I also provided emotional support to affected families and helped with cleanup and rehabilitation efforts in affected areas.
It was heartwarming to see the impact that our work had on the affected communities. We were able to provide much-needed supplies and support to those who had lost their homes and possessions in the floods. I will always cherish the memories of working with the Al-Ahad team and seeing the positive impact that we were able to make in people's lives.
