Over all Management of Protection Cases under Community Based Protection Project-UNHCR

Following up directly with vulnerable migrants and refugees in need of protection case management services due to multiple and/or complex vulnerabilities impacting their protection situation.
Assisting with the assessment of needs, risks, overall protection situation and eligibility of migrants and refugees for case management services through regular field visits in different provinces, using relevant forms, assessment tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Supporting in implementing case management interventions to support eligible refugees in a safe and timely manner, including but not limited to internal and external referrals to address identified needs, protection information dissemination and awareness raising sessions, and accompaniment to facilitate access to services.
Assisting in maintaining regular coordination and follow-up on cases with other IOM programmes and external actors when required, preparing case reports and relevant documents, and contributing to disseminate clear information on IOM’s activities and existing referral pathways.
Collecting and entering relevant data on Afghan refugees and migrants supported with protection case management in relevant tools, databases, and information management (IM) systems in a systematic and consistent manner to facilitate tracking and reporting.
Supporting the Humanitarian, Resilience and Recovery Unit (HRRU) and the Protection Team with other general tasks and activities, upon request, including but not limited to conducting field visits, protection monitoring surveys, key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions, awareness raising sessions and other field activities.

Develop and support institutionalization of Monitoring systems in PMU to strengthen project smooth implementation
Develop result based Project Development Objectives indicators for bench marking and gauging their achievement and progress
Support Manager M&E and other section staff in identifying, creating and maintaining networks with the major development, planning and research institutions in the area of education.
Produce quarterly progress report with support from the other sections’ officers on quarterly basis and present it to the Manager M&E for onward process and sharing.
Produce quarterly field visit data for all the program staff to ensure adequate field monitoring support to GPE-BEP project.
Pro-actively participate in PMU monitoring, on-going assessment and analysis of education in Balochistan
Assist the office in conducting high quality of relevant researches, studies, and evaluations and the use of the findings of such activities in the improvement of the education sector design and implementations. This includes the design of data collection methodologies and research related to project interventions and the introductions of new approaches and methods in project monitoring and evaluations
Provide situational analysis of the economic and social policy development trends and related political development in Balochistan with particular analysis of their effect on education sector.
Maintain data bank of social development, especially education indicators on education/ literacy enhancement.
Assist in the development of funding proposals and review/finalization of donor reports.
Compile all field visit report and share with all concerned on quarterly basis
Provide field-monitoring support to the project activities through project field visits at least once in a month on behalf of PMU
Support Manager M&E in developing, consolidating and implementing fieldwork plans of the PMU, generate and maintain field progress and financial report on quarterly basis in coordination with the relevant sections
Guide field-monitoring partners and supervise their overall activities
Facilitate specific workshops/ training or other capacity building exercises as required
Assist project/PMU teams and partners with monitoring organizational change and increased partner capacity
