Assistant Construction Manager
· Participate in various projects handling a broad scope of functions. Held direct accountability for preparing engineering designs, materials management, documentation preparation, and hands-on project activities.
· Design technical drawings, monitor field sites construction and organize periodic inspections to ensure work areas and quality of work up to standards and gained technical knowledge in structural equipment’s.
· Accomplish approx. 100 Million-hours of work till date, maintain projects includes approx. of 60 Million PKR, respond all bottlenecks and identify alternatives to avoid such issues in construction process in future.
· Schedule works and generate progress reports, devise new ideas for cost effective construction and quality inspection, also cross-examine material and equipment bills.
Site engineer
· Produced BOQ such as bar bending schedule of different structural elements (slab, beams, columns, retaining wall, drainage system etc.) and estimation of quantities in roads and building elements (excavation, backfilling, stone soling, base, sub base, concrete panels, R.C.C & brick foundations, Concreting of different structural elements, flooring, block & brick masonry, plaster, paint items etc.).
· Ensured appropriate and cost-effective buying of construction material, carried out interim payment certificate, rate analysis and prepared level sheets comprises difference of levels from on-site to actual levels.
· Applied field density test on compacted soil to meet the required compaction and resolved punch list items at the end of the project.
Key Projects
· Established a relation between a multinational firm HUBCO and TCF, for some of our major projects.
· Bottle-necked construction of infrastructure work was started again, handed over in approximately five months and resulted in good relation between client (Liaquat National Hospital) and contractor (Al-Shafi Enterprises).
