Oversee branch operations to ensure efficient and compliant delivery of customer services, including transaction processing and complaint resolution. Ensure adherence to regulatory policies, including KYC/AML guidelines, and monitor transaction authorizations. Manage costs, promote customer satisfaction, and drive business growth through cross-selling initiatives. Maintain security measures, conduct audits, and provide leadership to the operations team for performance management and goal setting.
• Ensure, manage and supervise over the counter services in the branch to achieve timely and accurate processing of customer requested transactions and customer complaints, while ensuring service delivery is as per the prescribed standards.
• Ensure all processes are followed as per Branch Operations, Foreign exchange manuals & KYC/AML policy; while ensuring Compliance and TATs are met as per Service Level Agreement between departments.
• Supervise and ensure compliance with Money Laundering and terrorist financing regulations and Know Your Customer Guidelines, while regularly reviewing KYC status, customer profiles, conduct risk assessments, authorization of transactions on a daily basis.
• Provide guidance and recommendations in order to support the resolution of all customer cases to improve overall customer experience.
• Management of variable cost factor pertaining to branch operations and to maintain the cost at minimum level and within budget to ensure branch efficiency.
• Facilitate growth in business and strengthen Bank by ensuring customer satisfaction, actively participate for retention of deposits, identify and follow up on cross sell leads along with the branch manager in order to strengthen the liability position of the bank
• Responsible for reconciliation of Inter Branch Transaction Supervision /Cross Branch Transactions,
• Ensure all processes are performed as per bank policies to achieve best satisfactory audit ratings in internal, external and SBP audits.
• Hold the custody of cash vault, security stationery and ATM, while acting as branch security officer by conducting security drills and alert staff, in order to remain vigilant and maintain security
• Lead the branch Operations team to set individual objectives, review performance appraisals and provide on-going feedback on a formal and informal basis so that all staff are aware of what they are required to achieve and how they are performing against their objectives.
Account openings and other customer services
• Voucher and cheques verification
• Making ROPs and Purchase Orders
• Inventories, Scanning, Photocopying and filing (electronic and hard copy)
• Material stock requesting and Purchase requisition
• Answer incoming phone call, communicates the same and take actions as instructed
• Administrative tasks including record keeping, typing letters and handling messages etc
• And other secretarial tasks instructed by senior manager
• Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation and ensure that all outstanding issues have been timely resolved
• Delivery of cheques and cash to different clients, banks and other faculty staff through courier or by hand
• Oversee cash management procedures
• Assist in daily operational activities such as payment processing and voucher preparation etc
• Order, issue and maintain records of stationary and supplies as well as to ensure proper maintenance office equipments
• Maintain inventories both electronic and hard copy filing system
• Record and manage inventory of construction store and make it available for technical staff
• Maintain calendar, make appointments, prepare meeting schedules and noted down the meeting minutes
• Perform general functions like managing staff’s (daily wager) attendance, overtime and staff utilization with respect to their job
• Liaise with all other departments for day to day official matters
• Answer incoming and outgoing calls, communicate the same to concerned staff and take actions as instructed
