• Ensure timely completion of EOD(s) of Banking, Currency and RTGS applications.
• Closely monitor temperature, cooling and UPS system of Data Centers at primary and backup locations.
• Inform about status of systems running in primary and backup data Centre to concerned teams.
• Prevent unauthorized access in data center. Ensure backups of Banking and Currency Applications during EOD process.
• Perform tape management of backup media of Banking and Currency Applications.
• Ensure safe custody of the backup tapes for restoration in case of system crashes/failure of data due to any error in the system.
• Perform any other work, which may be assigned by the superior.
• Resolving Globus EOD’s related issues require technology knowledge as well as quick decision making.
• Taking corrective actions in case of observing faults in UPS while real time monitoring through Network Operations Center and Data Center Infrastructure Manager dashboards.
• Incident reporting related temperature, cooling and UPS system of Data Centers at primary and backup locations. Escalation of faults Arrangement of smooth and error free systems running in primary and backup data Centre to concerned teams
• Provide information about defective equipment/parts to UPS and AC team Physically visit LRC , DATA Centre and UPS room as per SOP, to ensure to check the temperature as per SOP
• Email or reports to ensure that the operations planning objectives are met as well as QOS is ensured.
• Escalate potential downtime of Electricity in a timely manner to avoid delays. Ensure SOP for data Centre within the rules and regulations of SBP for operation team.
• Working as Regional NOC Engineer &Field Support Engineer. Network monitoring service quality check PTCL network.
• Configuration of Access Services like HSI, IPTV, VOD over SDH platform.
• Ensuring technical support to CPEI’s.
• Identify, analyze, report and respond to technical issues in network.
• Fault Alarm Managements by using CMS (Complaint Management System).
• Performing necessary first line maintenance, isolation and escalation of faults to Network Field Maintenance and ensure quality of service. Making daily report using MS-Excel.
• Working on PTCL CRM to generate reports and handle technical SRs.
• Preparation of monthly reports required to ensure that the planning objectives are met as well as QOS is ensured.
• To Work with the Business Manager to regularly review operational procedures to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business
• Escalate potential blockages to vendor and Project Manager in a timely manner to avoid delays.

• Managing and maintaining OLT's and ONU's for efficient field operations, supervising the McKenzie Revamp Project and managing CSR KPIs
