an analysis of cost and benefits to farmer from selected vegetables

This study analyze Cost and Benefits of vegetables to Farmer from Selected Vegetables i.e. Onion, Tomato and Cauliflower in a particular villages of Swat district. The main Objective of the study is to disclose the accurate point about the cost on the production, revenue from raising vegetables, their outputs, and reason behind such differences. The important point is to review of the past studies related to this view. It provides solution to the problems. For the purpose of the study a samples of (39 each growing onion, tomato and cauliflower) were randomly selected from three village’s for survey. These survey is completed during the specific time period (NOV 2014-july 2015). For the samples of the research the proportional allocation of sampling technique is used. For The estimation of Results Cost and Benefit analysis Approach is used. The net revenue of the selected vegetables is highly profitable to the farmers. But the Onion is more profitable as compared to other vegetables. The gross returns were significantly influenced by the use of fertilizers, seed and pesticides these factors were directly liable for persuading the per hector cost production of selected vegetables. In the study area there is some problems which connected to the production and marketing facilities of these vegetables. Some recommendations has demonstrated in the light of some finding and facts.
