Project Name: Countering Child Labor through Empowering Govt. Institution and Communities
Project Description: The capacity of key government departments (Labor- NFE and Literacy department) and civil society stakeholders (parents, children, religious leaders, civil society organizations) of Lahore are strengthened to counter child̢۪s labor. The rights of child laborers and their peers (5 to 14 years old) are recognized and better protected by services provided by state and non-state actors. Evidence is available to improve legal and policy reform to protect and promote the rights of child laborer̢۪s in Pakistan. Major Responsibilities:
 Development of field plans; Conduct field visits of NFBE (Non-Formal Basic Education) center on daily basis; Engage learner (NFBE child) through different activities to improve their education or daily life base
skills; Organize and conduct awareness session on child rights and child protection with NFBE learner and parents committees every month;Â Monitoring and evaluation on job trainings of NFBE Teachers in NFE centers;Â Meeting with parents in target communities in district Lahore to mobilize them to promote child education; Awareness on child rights and child protection at school and community level ;Â Data collection, develop database, analysis and reporting.

Project Name: Women Economic and Social Well-being (WESW)
Project Description: Women’s Economic and Social Wellbeing (WESW) Survey Punjab, 2018 is a collaborative initiative carried out by the Bureau of Statistics (BoS), Punjab and Punjab Commission on the Status of Women
(PSCW). The project received funding from the United Nations Fund (UNFPA). The UNFPA also provided technical assistance and support for implementation of the project. Data collection from the field and onward activities i.e. report writing were performed by Apex Consulting Pakistan.
Major Responsibilities:
 Attend 18 days training session on survey introduction, survey protocols, survey tools, field ethics, data collection methods and techniques, interview techniques and CSpro based survey tool application for data collection; Conduct two days pretesting in field and give feedback on questionnaire, survey tool application and field challenges; Development of field plan with the consent of field supervisor and other team members; Conduct field visits for data collection through window based CSPro application and interviewed of 230 women during 45 days of extensive field work; Daily upload collected data on server and develop the daily progress sheet; Conduct daily morning and evening meeting with all team members to share issues and challenges faced during field; Regular coordination with all team members for the better planning and successfully completion of the survey.
