worked as Head of Finance & Imports with Synergy Corporation, Assistant Manager Finance with Indus Motor Company
(Toyota) and as an Accounts Officer at Hilton Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd. Working in these organizations; I had an opportunity of
being involved in various special nature engagements and diversified portfolio of assignments. Brief of these exposures
are indicated below:
- Restructuring of accounts and finance processes, operations, financial & management reporting & controlling.
- Proposing SOPs for key operation processes ranging from local procurement, inbound / outbound logistics, after
sales support and admin.
- Process redesigning of imports operation.
- Creation of new legal entity for classification and distribution of business activities.
- Presented detailed budgeting structure in order to calibrate sales, operation and finance.
- Performed a central role among various departments ranging from sales, after sales support, procurement,
production, logistics and finance.

Currently working in the capacity of CFO, directly reporting to the CEO and Strategic Board. During my
experience with this organization, I have been leading Finance, Accounts and Supply Chain operations,
along with additional strategic responsibilities of redefining the policies and processes after detailed
understanding and investigation of operational gaps. These activities mainly include:
Ensuring financial operations are swiftly in process;
Ensure timely financial and non-financial reporting on agreed intervals;
Screening and ensuring implemented interdepartmental control are met;
Continuous evaluation of accounting, operational and internal control system to improve
procedures in order to mitigate risk;
Supervising annual budgets and segment wise variance reporting;
Dealing with bankers for prevailing and exploring new banking arrangements in compliant with Shariah
guidance;

During my experience with this organization, I have been heading Finance, Accounts and Imports
operations, along with additional responsibilities of restructuring and continuous betterment of operational
controls and redesigning of operational processes and their related matters. These activities mainly

Ensuring swift processing of accounts and finance operation;
Monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financials and management reports;
Reporting landed costs, and consignment reporting;
Monitoring debtor’s collection and its related matters, i.e., Credit worthiness, credit policy and
assignment of credit limits;
Management and modeling of import operations from ordering foreign supplier, arrangement of
freight, transshipments, staging, clearance at destination port and related banking operations;
Screening and ensuring implemented interdepartmental control are met;
Continuous evaluation of accounting, operational and internal control system to improve
procedures in order to mitigate risk;
Dealing with bankers for prevailing and exploring new leasing, financing & other banking arrangements;
Ensuring compliances and timely filing of sales tax, income tax return, tax planning and other
regulatory matters;
Dealing with various Government departments includes FBR, SRB, Pakistan Customs, and KDA etc.
Worked in the capacity of Assistant Manager Finance, reporting to the Manager Finance and
specific reporting to CFO. During my experience with this Organization, I was responsible for our
monitoring Sales Invoicing generated by Sales Department and ensuring compliance with sales
and credit policies and related matters. These mainly included:
Sales verification and ensuring compliances with management policies;
Debtors Management, Analysis, and Age Reporting to Management;
Supervising Dealer financing Program;
Sales closing and month end adjustment;
Initiating Sales policies and ensuring compliances;
Co-ordination with auditors;
MIS reporting (Sales and Receivable etc.);
Supervising Incentives processing, Warranty Claims, Dealer Commission and other reimbursements
Sales Analysis and reporting;
Worked in the capacity of Accounts Officer reporting to the Manager Finance and specific reporting to
CFO. During my experience with this Organization, I was responsible for Debtors section of Hilton
Pharma, whereas subsequently additional responsibilities of supervising accounts and finance of a
sister concern company Hinucon Nutraceutical. My responsibilities there mainly included:
Debtors Management (age analysis, credit screenings, preparing analytical reports, maintaining
creditnotes etc.;
Product costing;
GL postings and verifications;
Making advances to field forces strength and maintaining advance status;
Preparation of budgets and dealing all its relevant issues;
Sales tax working, quarterly tax filling & other income tax working;
Preparing bank reconciliation statements and other accounts reconciliations;
Drafting Financial Statements and assistance in finalizing Accounts;
MIS reporting (Stock, Sales and Advances etc.);
Liaison with our group of companies’ payments;
