Provide support to the Ministry of NHSR&C and relevant attached department(s)/ program(s), other line ministries, provincial departments of health and concerned departments at the provincial level, and development partners for the preparations and facilitate conduction of 2nd JEE and in relation to Global Health Security Agenda/ IHR implementation from One health perspective, developing self-evaluation report and supporting it in the provinces and regions. o Support the Ministry in ensuring that Health Development Partners contributions and support is aligned with the overall government strategies and policies in implementation of the NAPHS o Develop in-depth understanding of the JEE tool, and contribute in capacity building of all engaged in the 2nd JEE, along with ensuring completion of JEE Tool for each relevant domain, as well for each province and region of the country. o To provide technical support at SARI/ILI and COVID-19 sentinel sites in the provinces and territories or assigned area as required. o To coordinate with Provincial, territorial and district Surveillance and Response Unit staff on SARI/ILI and COVID-19 surveillance data. o Collect data on ITF COVID-19 indicators aligned with IHR/GHSA and share with JEE secretariat for external evaluation o Proactively engage in strategic planning, related to 2nd JEE mission, and for GHSA/IHR, CD and AMR at all levels. o Assist in relevant data/ document acquisition from federal, provincial/area health department, vertical programs and other entities as per the requirements of JEE tool during the 2nd Joint external evaluation, and for NAPHS. o Organizing and coordinating the IHR Taskforce (Provincial/area meetings)/Communicable disease technical working group meetings and for implementation of preparation activities related to IHR. o Support any other activity related to IHR and JEE or any task assigned by the line manager.

Duration of internship was 1year.The internship duration has been completed in July 2018. First I have worked in microbiology water quality control testing, After that I have worked at microbiology lab Public health laboratory division (PHLD).

I done all pathology lab work practically through instrumental machines and also by manually.

I have worked as a quality control microbiologist at UNISA pharmaceutical industry for 6months. I have experienced how to control the contamination how to sterile them how to process them how to manage them how to clear the results.
