I have 11th years of experience working as a Health & Safety Officer in Hamad International Airport, Cargo Terminal Building.

In my current job I regularly conduct workplace safety trainings. My duties include using strong analytical skills to analyze the safety needs of the workplace and then to recommend safety policy and procedural changes. Auditing production, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulation. Assessing risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operation. Creating analytical reports of safety data. Reviewing and reporting on the staff's compliance with health and safety rules and recommending commendations or dismissal based on performance. Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations. Scan, print and compile documents for Health & Safety Audits
At times I have responded quickly to the job site after hours to handle emergency situations. A good Safety Specialist must be a good leader in addition to being a strong communicator. I have been able to use both my leadership skills and verbal communication abilities to communicate safety standards and to address problem areas. My keen knowledge of safety laws and the ethical reasons workplace safety is important helps me ensure standards are followed.
