More than twenty years of sound professional experience as NRM/forestry/Livelihoods and Gender expert with different inter/national organizations. My dominant work experience has been in managing Natural Resource Management (NRM), Livelihoods and Agribusiness projects through civil society and private sector engagement, developing strategies for NRM development thru enterprise orientation developing monitoring systems and database for all value chains managing monitoring, evaluation reports, donor reports and research papers and NRM/DRM Plans coordinating and facilitating inter/national and provincial workshops for government, civil society and private partners on rural development, agribusiness and DRM formation of business associations in tourism, livestock, agriculture and forestry sectors formation of village level community and womens organizations around specified common interests and capacity building of staff and partner organizations in NRM, Agribusiness, Organizational Management, Leadership, Planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of Social and enterprise Development Programs/projects.
· Provided technical and managerial oversight and capacity building of the LSP team
· Technical lead to input on sector strategy, program development, identification and design of technical assistance to LSP and Nutrition projects and regional program teams

· Managed Disaster Risk Management component of FAO as One-UN program and being implemented through government concerned departments and civil society organizations in Pakistan
· Co-facilitated National workshop on Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in Agriculture and Food Security and developed the workshop report
· Conducted five Provincial (FATA, KPK, and Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan) workshops on Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in Agriculture as a lead person
· Maintained continuous coordination with the national and provincial government and non-government partners for timely delivery of information, services, and goods to disaster-hit rural communities
· Engaged with the technical experts on the development of programs related to risk identification, capacity development, climate risk management, and gender
· Strengthened the capacity of enterprises by organizing producers into clusters and associations
· Helped create 32 formal business associations in the tourism, dairy, poultry, vegetable, fruits, and potato sectors in KP and AJ&K with funding provided by USAID

· The assisted earthquake-affected communities in establishing processes, institutions, capacities, infrastructures, and services that facilitate their rehabilitation in the Chakhama Valley of AJ&K
· Designed, developed, and implemented NRM /livelihoods recreation Strategy and annual work plans for AJ&K

· Introduced social and financial incentives among community organizations for promoting social forestry
· Promoted Social Forestry with the involvement of community-based organizations and concerned forest departments
· Promoted youth environmental clubs at school and college level
· Promoted environment-friendly and sustainable solid waste management systems at the community level in GB
· Helped communities in promoting and adopting environment-friendly stoves to reduce household pollution
· Rehabilitation of wasteland by the establishment of large-scale plantations under social forestry program, Block plantations, dry-land, and water harvesting techniques
· Co-facilitated National Consultation on “Strategies for Grassroots’ Women’s Empowerment in Natural Resource Management in the Northern Areas of Pakistan” AKRSP & ICIMOD, Gilgit.
· Providing capacity-building support to VO/WOs and other development stakeholders in Social Forestry, Organizational Management, Accounts and book-keeping, Gender, Conflict Resolution, and Leadership,
Review and analysis of existing and planned policies and legislation in Pakistan for Agribusiness subsector Storage+Logistics and Processing. 2, Research/ literature review on sectors practices and case studies from 3 companies active in Pakistan in the agribusiness sub-sector. 3. Assessment of environmental and social risks related to specific sub-sector and up to 2 case studies/examples in Pakistan. 4. Stakeholder interviews and summary notes 5. Support to regional ERM team with the gaps assessment, recommendations to the client, and deliverables review to address the client’s comments.
