Project M&E Framework Development

Work closely with project teams to develop comprehensive M&E frameworks aligned with project goals, donor requirements, and organizational strategies.
Define clear indicators, targets, and means of verification for monitoring project activities, outputs, and outcomes.
Develop data collection tools (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups) and methodologies for baseline, midline, and end line assessments.

Data Management and Analysis

Oversee the collection, processing, and quality assurance of project monitoring data from various sources (e.g., field staff, partners, beneficiaries).
Maintain secure databases and ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to data protection protocols.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess project performance, identify trends, and triangulate findings.

Monitoring and Reporting

Prepare regular monitoring reports, highlighting progress against targets, challenges, and potential course corrections.
Collaborate with project teams to interpet monitoring data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Ensure timely submission of donor reports, adhering to reporting requirements and formats.

Evaluation and Learning

Design and manage external evaluations (e.g., midterm, final, impact) in collaboration with consultants or evaluation teams.
Facilitate internal and external learning events to share evaluation findings, lessons learned, and best practices.
Contribute to knowledge management efforts by documenting and disseminating M&E methodologies and tools.

Capacity Building

Provide training and mentorship to project staff and partners on M&E concepts, tools, and processes.
Promote a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement 

Coordinate with donor agencies, government entities, and other stakeholders on M&E-related matters, ensuring transparency and alignment.
Represent the organization in relevant M&E forums, networks, and events

Developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans for all programs and projects.
Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess program and project performance.
Providing regular reports to management and stakeholders on program progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Conducting research on development-related topics, gathering relevant data, analyzing information, and contributing to the development of research papers, reports, or publications.
Collaborating with a team to design questionnaires or surveys for data collection purposes.
Conduct field surveys to monitor enumerators and collect data from households, professionals, Civil Society, and other stakeholders associated with communities in rural areas for research and policy-oriented tasks.
Utilizing various software tools such as Excel, NVivo, SPSS, Stata, or other statistical software packages to analyze collected data.
Organizing and facilitating conferences, workshops, or meetings focused on regional policy issues.
Building relationships with various stakeholders for the successful accomplishment of the projects.
Crafting comprehensive field plans for field-based activities and building reports based on research findings; effectively communicating research objectives, methodologies, data analysis results, and policy implications.
Conducting progress review meetings and discussions for the smooth and timely delivery of projects and communicating with the data collection unit accordingly.

Teaching major economic courses to undergraduate and graduate students, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
Providing guidance and support to students in their thesis writing and research projects, offering valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
Assisting students in developing questionnaires for research purposes, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in data collection.
Conducting meetings and training sessions for enumerators and data collectors to enhance their skills and maintain high-quality data collection standards.
