Finance Manager (Head Office)
As a part of M/S Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited. My assistance is there for:
• Group Reporting in accordance with procedures and timetables.
• Monitoring of Expenses & identification of the cause of variances on monthly basis by preparing Variance Reports.
• Preparation of Head Office and Branches accruals against administrative expenses on monthly basis.
• Co-ordination with Branches on expense ceiling reviews & approvals.
• Insurance related works such as arrangement of cash insurance for new branches, ATMs insurance and monitoring of excess cash position exceeding the cash insurance assigned limits.
• Settlement of insurance claims with insurance companies against damaged/repaired fix assets.
• SBP Reporting includes preparation of Rate of Return against deposits and advances on monthly basis.
• Submitted tax withheld of vendors against administrative payments on weekly basis as per the requirement of Income Tax Ordinance and Rules, submitted monthly withholding tax statement through e-filing to the tax authorities & collect and maintain tax related documents of vendors in an orderly manner to facilitate ease of reference.
• Support Senior Vice President Finance, payments & tax division and auditors by providing relevant documents as required.

As an intern:
• Ensured business processes supported by strong and compliant internal controls aligned with the NFCM (NOVARTIS Financial Controls Manual), which drive the effectiveness and efficiency of financial operations.
• Ensured Company’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are updated and strictly followed.
• Reviewed the Balance Sheet on a break-up basis through an appropriate analysis by interpreting different ratios and performance.
• Prepared Trade Loading Policy for Supply Chain Department.

As an intern,
