We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cash Item Purchase Manager to lead our cash item purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing purchasing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of cash items while maintaining high-quality standards and minimizing risks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement purchasing strategies for cash items, including market research, supplier identification, and contract negotiation.
2. Supplier Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, including evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and resolving disputes.
3. Cash Item Procurement: Oversee the procurement of cash items, including purchasing, inventory management, and logistics.
4. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
5. Quality Control: Ensure that purchased cash items meet quality and safety standards.
6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of cash items to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize obsolescence.
7. Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for cash item procurement.
8. Reporting: Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and cost savings.

Requirements
1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
3. Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in purchasing strategy, supplier management, and inventory management.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of purchasing principles, practices, and regulations, including contract law, procurement ethics, and supply chain management.
