We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team developing a next-generation equities and options trading platform. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about precision, speed, and ensuring system-wide resilience. As the primary resource for functional and performance testing, you will be instrumental in maintaining the platform’s reliability and efficiency by identifying system vulnerabilities and documenting findings meticulously.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive functional, performance, load, stress, and compatibility tests across various application modules. Develop and maintain automation pipelines for performance testing, integrating these into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows. Conduct detailed bottleneck analysis and profile both backend and frontend performance under diverse trading scenarios. Simulate high-volume user activity and data conditions to evaluate system stability and responsiveness. Validate system behavior during real-world trading conditions, including pre-market, post-market, and live session stress tests. Produce thorough test plans, benchmark reports, and quality assurance documentation. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality software releases.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Three to six years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on performance, load, and stress testing. Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or Locust. Strong documentation and reporting skills, with experience using tools like JIRA and Confluence. Deep understanding of QA metrics, including bottleneck identification, concurrency challenges, and latency optimization. Experience in UI and responsiveness testing to ensure seamless user interactions.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with high-performance systems, real-time data feeds, socket programming, or market simulation is highly advantageous. Exposure to financial or trading platforms such as Bloomberg, Trading Technologies (TT), or Fidessa is a plus. Experience working in Agile development environments and knowledge of C# programming language.
