GM Engineering (Maintenance, Utilities & Projects) - Hattar Plant

The GM Engineering at Qarshi Industries Pvt Ltd. plays a crucial role in overseeing maintenance, utilities, and project management at the Hattar Plant. This position requires a highly skilled individual with extensive experience in the engineering sector, specifically within FMCG or pharmaceutical industries. The GM Engineering will lead the team of professionals, ensuring maintenance protocols are followed, projects are executed successfully, and utility systems operate efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a commitment to excellence in engineering operations to drive continuous improvement and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the engineering department, ensuring alignment with company mission and strtegic plans
Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with production goals and business objectives
Oversee engineering projects from planning to execution, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards
Manage project resources and budgets effectively, lead and mentor the engineering team, fostering innovation and professioanl growth
Implement best practices and technologies for streamlined operations, optimize production processes to enhance efficeiency, reduce costs, and improved quality
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices
Manage the engineering budget and oversee procurement of tools and materials
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D to integrate engineering solutions

Education & Experience Required:

Masters degree in Engineering, Preferably Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 Years of experience in the engineering sector preferably FMCG / Pharma At least 05 Years in a senior management role
35-45 Years of age
