You will be responsible for preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), coordinating with vendors, and overseeing the execution of infrastructure and development in facilities. This role ensures that all plans are accurately designed, implemented efficiently, and adhere to quality and budget standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Preparation of BOQs:

  • Develop comprehensive BOQs based on project requirements and detailed design plans.
  • Collaborate with and relevant stakeholders to gather accurate information for BOQ preparation.
  • Ensure BOQs reflect all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required for the project, with cost estimates.

2.      Implementation:

  • Oversee the implementation of infrastructure activities in facilities from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to manage milestones and supervise day-to-day project activities.
  • Monitor construction and development progress, ensuring compliance with the BOQ specifications and standards.

3.      Vendor Management and Coordination:

  • Engage with vendors and contractors during the procurement process to manage contracts.
  • Ensure all contracted work meets specifications and is delivered within the agreed timeframe and budget.
  • Address and resolve any vendor-related issues that may arise during project execution in collaboration with the procurement department.

4.      Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Implement quality control measures to monitor project execution and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, ensuring all processes comply with policies and best practices.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control throughout the year.

6.      Technical Support:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and other departments as needed.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues that may impact project timelines or quality.

7.      Routine Maintenance:

  • Plan maintenance activities in the facility to align with the Projections plan.
  • Track and monitor all maintenance related activities in the facilities.
  • Manage Maintenance teams at the facilities to align their work schedule with the maintenance plans.
  • Track and report to GM- Projects

8.      Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks related to infrastructure and development projects and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that risk assessments are conducted and documented for all relevant projects.

9.      Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the General Manager - Projects and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and present updates to the General Manager - Projects and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular project meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.

10   Sustainability and Innovation:

  • Implement sustainable construction practices and materials wherever possible.
  • Explore and recommend innovative methods or technologies that can improve project efficiency and outcomes.
