Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV cameras in real-time to detect suspicious activities such as shoplifting, employee misconduct, or unauthorized access.
- Report any unusual behavior or incidents immediately.
- Ensure all surveillance cameras and recording systems are functioning properly; notify IT if any equipment fails.
- Back up CCTV footage as required (daily or weekly) and store it securely.
- Support investigations by reviewing footage and identifying individuals or actions clearly.
- Maintain a log of daily activities, incidents, and technical issues.
- Follow protocols for handling sensitive footage and maintain complete confidentiality.
- Monitor staff movement and customer interactions to ensure professionalism and safety.
- Assist in preventing loss or damage to goods and shop property.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of how to operate CCTV systems (training can be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and alertness.
- Trustworthy, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused for long periods.
- Basic understanding of retail behavior and common theft patterns is a plus.
