Objective 1: Logistics/Procurement

Activities:

Assist Sr. log officer in supply chain management, especially Country Office procurements.
Assist in procuring goods/services as per SIF policy for the project.
Assist for the timely delivery of items for project activities.
Receive the supplies of project activities ordered and keep their follow-up up to date;
Ensure that all purchase procedures are followed any discrepancies to be reported to the concerned.
To keep records and maintain a list of suppliers and local repair/maintenance shops, and to conduct price comparisons among them, in order to get the best deals.
Assist in collecting quotations from the local market and targeted category of suppliers.
Follow & management of project stocks (storage conditions, report, expiry date);
Check delivery to the departments;
Supervise the management, renovation and maintenance of structures needed for the functioning (office, guesthouse, warehouse);
Prepare & update monthly procurement follow-up report
Share monthly procurement follow-up report with log Officer by the 2nd of each month
Assist log Officer in equipment & inventory report

Objective 2: Fleet Management

Activities

Supervise the management of the pool of vehicles: maintenance, and daily planning.
Supervise. Monitor and train the drivers.
Monitor regular consumption of vehicles.
Monitor regular checks of vehicles by the driver and all equipment placements in the vehicle.
Update monthly vehicle & generator fuel consumption report

Share monthly vehicle & generator fuel consumption report with base log by the 2nd of each month.
