Senior Auditor Manager – Grocery Store

We are looking for a Senior Auditor Manager to join our fast-growing grocery store chain. This role involves overseeing internal audit and inventory control functions across eight branches and a central warehouse. The ideal candidate will be a highly responsible and detail-focused professional with strong expertise in retail auditing, inventory management, and team leadership. This position is crucial for maintaining operational integrity, preventing losses, and ensuring accurate stock management throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the audit and inventory control team, including audit officers and store inventory checkers. Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans and inventory control systems across all locations. Conduct surprise audits, stock verifications, and compliance checks at branches and warehouse facilities. Analyze discrepancies, losses, or variances and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in all departments. Provide training and guidance to junior auditors and store staff on best auditing and inventory practices. Recommend improvements for loss prevention, stock accuracy, and system controls. Coordinate closely with accounts, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and operational alignment.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in retail auditing and inventory control, preferably within multi-location retail businesses. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address operational discrepancies. A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Knowledge of warehouse operations, including expiry control and purchase verification processes. Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple branches. Competitive full-time salary ranging from Rs40,000 to Rs60,000 per month. The role requires in-person presence to effectively manage audits and inventory control activities.
