Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines tailored to meet specific project requirements. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth automation and continuous delivery. Additionally, the position involves managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and integrating APIs to support scalable and secure software deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement customized CI/CD pipelines that enable automated, scalable, and efficient delivery workflows aligned with project goals. Continuously monitor and optimize existing pipelines to follow best practices, maintain security standards, and incorporate emerging technologies. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate tools and solutions into CI/CD workflows, fostering end-to-end automation and enhanced productivity.

Develop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code manifests, primarily using Terraform, to provision and manage infrastructure reliably with version control. Implement and support API development and integration with platforms such as Kong API Gateway (preferred), Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Gateway. Utilize tools like Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and Python to extend and improve CI/CD capabilities across different environments.

Create robust automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline infrastructure management, deployments, and other DevOps tasks, reducing manual effort and minimizing errors. Actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on DevOps practices, promote knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvement throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Proactively research and resolve issues independently by leveraging internal documentation and consulting subject-matter experts when necessary.

Required Qualifications

5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Strong proficiency with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools. Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly using Terraform. Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with API gateways, preferably Kong API Gateway, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, or Azure API Gateway. Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
