Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Instruction:
- Deliver engaging lectures, facilitate workshops, and conduct practical sessions for postgraduate students pursuing degrees or diplomas in Health Professions Education (e.g., MHPE, diplomas).
- Guide and supervise students on their research projects and assignments related to HPE topics.
- Integrate modern pedagogical approaches and adult learning principles into teaching practices.
- Curriculum Development & Evaluation:
- Assist in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of HPE curricula, ensuring alignment with best practices and institutional standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of course content and teaching methodologies.
- Research & Scholarship:
- Initiate and participate in scholarly activities and research projects in Health Professions Education.
- Aim to publish research findings in peer-reviewed national and international journals.
- Present scholarly work at relevant academic conferences and workshops.
- Contribute to grant writing efforts to secure funding for HPE research initiatives.
- Faculty Development:
- Assist in developing and facilitating faculty development programs and workshops for healthcare educators across the institution.
- Provide mentorship and support to faculty members seeking to enhance their teaching, assessment, and curriculum development skills.
- Service & Administration:
- Serve on departmental and institutional committees as assigned.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative tasks.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in HPE.
