Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Department of [Specify Department].
- Mentor and guide faculty members in their teaching, research, clinical practice, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive academic environment.
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning and development of the School/College of Dentistry.
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Design, develop, and deliver advanced dental courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Employ innovative and evidence-based teaching methodologies, including lectures, seminars, clinical instruction, and technology-enhanced learning.
- Lead curriculum review, development, and evaluation processes to ensure relevance, rigor, and alignment with current best practices.
- Supervise and mentor graduate student research and clinical activities.
Research and Scholarship:
- Conduct impactful and original research in a specialized area of dentistry.
- Secure external research funding through grants and collaborations.
- Publish extensively in high-impact, peer-reviewed dental and related journals.
- Present research findings at national and international conferences.
- Mentor faculty and students in research endeavors.
Clinical Practice (if applicable):
- Maintain an active clinical practice in a specialized area of dentistry, serving as a role model for students and colleagues and providing advanced patient care.
- Foster partnerships with clinical agencies for student rotations and research opportunities.
- Contribute to the advancement of dental practice through evidence-based initiatives and protocols.
Service and Administration:
- Serve on key school/college and university committees.
- Provide leadership in departmental and school/college governance.
- Participate in accreditation processes and quality assurance initiatives.
- Engage in professional organizations and contribute to the dental profession at a national and international level.
- Represent the School/College of Dentistry in relevant forums.
